CONFERENCES

1– Organized for the first time in Egypt 6 national cancer conferences during the period 1983-1995, the first was on breast cancer held in 1983.

2– Organized (as President) two international cancer conferences in Cairo, one in cooperation with the International Academy of Pathology in 1993, and the other in cooperation with the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) in 1994.

3– Participation, as invited speaker or session chairman in several national and international conferences including: the conferences of the American  Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 1987-1995, (SWOG) 1976-1981, the International Union Against Cancer Congress  (UICC)1970-1995, Lymphoma Conference, Lugano, Switzerland, 1984, Islam First Arab Congress, 2002, International Society of Hematogy, 2002, Seventh International Conference  of Oncology, 2003 and International Society of urology SIU Uro-oncology Meeting, Sharm EL-Sheikh, 2003.

4– Invited lecturer to the annual international training course in bladder cancer, Urology and Nephrology Center, Mansoura, Egypt, 2004-2008.
